67's Can't Take Advantage of Subban-less Bulls

1 comment:
On Wednesday night, where the Ottawa 67’s learned that they would soon be getting 30 goals back in the lineup as Tyler Graovac and Sean Monahan return from Canada’s Under-20 camp, they couldn’t muster up any offence in a 2-0 loss to the Belleville Bulls.

Defying 'Murphy's Law'; 67's Snap Losing Streak

No comments:
The adage that “anything that can go wrong will go wrong”, known as Murphy’s Law, seems to have summed up the first eight games of the Ottawa 67’s nine-game road trip, so it was fitting that it was Ryan Murphy and the Kitchener Rangers who were trying to continue the 67’s skid.  Murphy had several chances to win the game, but Ottawa prevailed 2-1 in a shootout.

67’s shutout 9-0 in Niagara

No comments:

Ryan Strome had two goals and an assist to lead his Niagara Ice Dogs to whopping 9-0 victory over the Ottawa 67’s.

On the road for the seventh game in a row and first of three this weekend, this was not the start the 67’s were looking for.   But still without the likes of Tyler Graovac, Sean Monahan and Mike Vlajkov, the 67’s knew it was a tough task ahead.

Gutsy effort in 2-1 67’s shootout loss to Spitfires

No comments:

Two weekends down, one to go.

The Ottawa 67’s earned their first point in the team’s 9-game road trip with an honest effort against the Windsor Spitfires.  Missing six regulars from the lineup, the 67’s only dressed 15 skaters and missing two of their three top scorers including Sean Monahan and Brett Gustavsen.

Despite the 67's getting out to a quick start, scoring twice on their first two shots of the game, and receiving a stellar performance through the first two periods from Clint Windsor, the Saginaw Spirit were able to pull away and blow out Ottawa for the second time this year, this time a final score of 10-3.
