Five Ex-67's Win German League Title

For most OHLers, it’s a dream to play professional hockey in North America.  If that dream doesn’t come to fruition, plenty make the trip over to Europe to pursue their dreams.  The dream was realized today for the Eisbaren Berlin Polar Bears of the Deutsche Hockey League, as they won the league championship with five ex-members of the Ottawa 67’s.

67's Prospects Convene At Rookie Camp

In the midst of a rebuild, the Ottawa 67’s hosted their annual rookie camp this past weekend to showcase and get a look at the top prospects that could be donning the barberpoles for years to come.

Off-ice workouts took place at Leitrim’s Fred Barrett Arena before a pair of scrimmages on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

Travis Konecny Introduced As First Overall Pick


Picking first overall for just the second time in the history of the OHL priority draft, the Ottawa 67’s chose the same direction they chose in 1993 -- drafting a center -- as they announced Travis Konecny as the newest member of the Barberpoles on Friday afternoon.
