Konecny leads 67’s to a big 3-2 win in the shootout over the Bulls



Travis Konecny scored the lone goal in the shootout displaying his quick hands and undeniable skill to give the 67’s a crucial 3-2 shootout win over the Bulls in Belleville tonight.

A crucial two points gives them a two point lead over the Niagara IceDogs and tied in 7th place with the Mississauga Steelheads.  The two clubs have a game in hand on the 67’s and faceoff against each other tomorrow night.

Playoffs Back In Range After 4-2 Defeat of Rangers

In a game where they were heavily outshot, didn’t have a man advantage and had to kill five penalties, including a late five-minute major, the Ottawa 67’s pulled out a character 4-2 win in Kitchener on Sunday.

67's lose 6-3 as the Knights spoil Herbst's return


If anyone wanted to win this game more than another, it was Liam Herbst who appeared in his first game back in London since being traded earlier this season. Herbst made quite the impression stopping 57 of 62 shots, but it wasn't enough as his Ottawa 67's fell 6-3 to the London Knights this evening. 

The 67's penalty troubles continued to loom early in the game. Dante Salituro took an penalty less than two minutes into the opening frame, but it wasn't until the Knights' second powerplay that they would open the scoring. Gemel Smith picked up his team leading 14th powerplay goal of the season.

Controversial Call Costs Konecny Key Goal In 5-4 Loss

On a day where sports fans in Canada focused on suspect Olympic judging, it was suspect OHL officiating that cost the Ottawa 67’s a key goal, and perhaps ground in the playoff race, as they eventually lost 5-4 to Owen Sound on Sunday.

67's blanked 6-0 by Gens



The season series between the Ottawa 67’s and Oshawa Generals couldn’t have been over sooner if you’re a 67’s fan.  Gens’ forward Scott Laughton posted 3 goals and 4 points enroute to a 6-0 victory over the 67’s in Oshawa tonight.  The Gens end up winning the season series 5-1-0-0 and outscoring them 28-12 through the 6 games.

67’s inch one step closer to the playoffs with a 4-2 win over the Steeheads

After a disappointing loss in Barrie last night, Ottawa got off to a good start in the opening frame.  Capitalizing off a Bryson Cianfrone giveaway, Dante Salituro tallied his 17th goal of the season.  Both teams continued to battle while both Philippe Trudeau and Spencer Martin stood on their heads to give their teams some confidence.  A good road period for the 67’s who led 1-0 after the first period.

Bradford tallies 2 goals in homecoming but 67’s suffer a 7-3 loss to the Colts



Erik Bradford had two goals in his first game back in Barrie after being traded to the Ottawa 67’s.  In the end his returned was spoiled as the 67’s dropped a 7-3 decision to the Barrie Colts on Saturday night.
