Colbert had his post-w/e interview on The TEAM 1200/Dave Gross and Garry Galley this morning. Some notes:
On consistency – They had a tough time [in Peterborough], and have have had a hard time this year playing in Peterborough. Need to do something different. They [Peterborough] play well in their own rink – know the corners and the boards.
On the new players – The group is excited about where the team can go. He feels they are a good team – better now then they were.
On being paired with Staubitz – “There seems to be a little more room out there now. I like it.” Colbert said that Staubitz is a great guy, moves the puck well, likes to ‘talk’ to the opposition a lot.
On the game this coming Wednesday at Belleville – Belleville has a different rink; the biggest in the league. They’re a good team this year.
On the game this Friday vs Peterborough – They want revenge for last Saturday. All the teams this coming w/e are divisional rivals, so they want to win.
