Notes from the regular post-w/e interview with Will Colbert on the TEAM 1200/Dave Gross and Garry Galley. [paraphrasing]
On the Superbowl: I was rooting for Philly, but it was a decent game. The guys got together to watch after the game [in Kingston].
On the Kingston win: It was our first win against them this year. It was nice to show them that we could beat them. We came out ready to play.
On Friday’s loss: I think that we were living in last w/e a little bit. Brampton came out big and they beat us. I was a little nervous yesterday when they [Kingston] came out to tie, but we kept it together and won.
On the Peterborough game this Thursday: It’s a big game for us. We’re going down on Wednesday, so there’s no travel on Thursday. We need to pick our play up in Peterborough’s rink. I see Toronto is creeping up on everyone. They’re having a good stretch lately. We need to be more consistent. We’re looking at the top of the division, and even the conference if we can put a good run together.
On playing in the all star game in Owen Sound: It was a lot of fun. It was kinda the London Knights show, but I had a lot of fun. [/paraphrasing]
