The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Mark Mancari of the Ottawa 67's is the OHL player of the week for the week ending Sunday March 13 after scoring six goals and nine points in four games.
Mancari started the week with three goals and two assists in a 6-3 win over the Kingston Frontenacs on March 8. He recorded his second straight hat trick and third in the past four games in a 6-1 win over the Brampton Battalion on March 11 and finished the week with an assist in a 4-3 loss to the Mississauga IceDogs on March 13.
Mancari, a 19-year-old London native, was also named OHL player of the week in December. He leads the 67's with 35 goals this season and is second on the team with 62 points in 62 games.
