Some movement of former Ottawa 67s around the NHL. As anyone who has been paying any attention should know by now, former Ottawa 67s Brian Campbell is now a Chicago Blackhawk.
Cory Locke, whose major junior hockey career hasn't yet translated into a steady NHL gig has been traded by the Montreal Canadians to the Minnesota Wild.
Speaking of the Wild, Tyler Cuma is (was?) at development camp. Here's a video clip. But it appears that he has suffered a bit of a set-back. Apparently he had to leave the ice early one day after getting a stick in the eye and then camp ended with a knee injury. Read the club's view on this here. With the World Junior Prospect Camp starting up here in Ottawa shortly, this has to be a major disappointment. It is highly probable that this will keep him off the ice - but you never know. Here's another article that appeared on NHL.com today.
Former Ottawa 67s Brendon Bell has been signed by the Ottawa Senators.
And finally, Zenon Konopka was signed by the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday.
