2 New Teams To QMJHL

The QMJHL has officially added two new teams. From TSN :

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League has two new teams after expansion franchises were awarded to St. John's, Nfld., and Saint John, N.B., on Wednesday.

The league grows from 16 to 18 teams. Once an all-Quebec league, the QMJHL will have eight teams based outside Quebec - seven in Atlantic Canada and one in Lewiston, Me.

Saint John will play at the 6,150-seat Harbour Station arena, while St. John's is expected to play at the 6,250-seat Mile One Stadium, currently in use by the Toronto Maple Leafs' American Hockey League team, which is to move out next season.

Not sure that St. John’s will be happy about losing their Maple Leafs.
